Within the framework of its development in Luxembourg, Céliance is seeking to recruit a Senior Accounting Officer.

Our teams, based in Luxembourg, Metz, Paris and Saint-Dizier, operate in the areas of independent expertise, consulting and auditing. We work on varied assignments: operational support, strategy – M&A, asset management, injury assessment, company valuation, legal and contractual audit, social dialogue and litigation. We operate in various sectors of activity: New Technologies, Start-Up, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Industry, Social and Solidarity Economy, Industry, Distribution and Real Estate-Construction.

You will be based in STRASSEN / Luxembourg
Easy access by buses – or coach by A6 – free parking

Essential Functions: 
  • Follow-up of client portfolio
  • Accounting:
    • maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
    • periodic accounting statements, reporting
    • preparing the balance sheet, notes and tax return
    • administrative workassociated with file management
  • Legal & tax:
    • filingof VAT and tax returns
    • annual tax returns for legal entities and individuals
  • Knowledge of payroll and/or BOB 50 would be a plus
Skills:
  • Languages required: French (mother tongue), English (a minimum level of B1)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Able to build and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external contacts
  • Sensitivity to deadlines
Experience:

Required
Minimum 3 years: Experience in related finance field in Luxembourg especially in fiduciaries in Luxembourg

Education:

Required
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
